Besides, gas businesses in Taiwan are private-owned utility enterprises, their clients have the privilege to consume the services before their payments, but most of gas meters in Taipei city are put on the balcony of each household, it is not easy to record the readings of gas meter, so the charges for gas use are based on quantities provided by clients or by estimation calculated by gas corporation, but both kinds of results are apt to cause disputes. In order to maintain public security and fairness of gas charge, Taipei Gas had introduced microcomputer gas meter from Japan since 1995, about 15 years ago, but it’s availablity still less than 10%, this research is intent to find out factors that will affect the degree of client acceptance of microcomputer gas meter. First of all, based on literature review to induce potential factors, including product innovation, habit, product knowledge, that may affect client decision to adopt microcomputer gas meter, besides, the research also checked the influence effects of technology acceptability on the above-mentioned factors. The research used questionnaire to investigate clients’ attitude, and used SPSS statistic software to analyze related quantities and to test hypotheses, and the results show that: 1、Product innovation, habit and product knowledge, etc. have positive impact on the client intention to buy microcomputer gas meter. 2、Technology acceptability will enhance the relationships among product innovation, habit and product knowledge, etc. and the client intention to buy microcomputer gas meter. 3、Product innovation and habit have positive interaction on the client intention to buy microcomputer gas meter. 4、Technology acceptability will enhance the relationship of product innovation andhabit on the client intention to buy microcomputer gas meter. In order to maintain client security and to mitigate business risk, gas corporation should promote the use of microcomputer gas meter, and treat it as an high priority policy, besides, gas corporation should also let their clients understand the differences between ordinary gas meter and microcomputer gas meter, train their employees to ensure after sale service quality, and to promote microcomputer gas meter when contact with their clients. The research may offer useful reference to gas industry or any gas corporation to decide whether promote microcomputer gas meter or not. 作者未提供 張玉琳 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 89 zh-TW
