One is a CPW feeding short slot antenna, the other is a coaxial feeding shorted-loop antenna. Both antennas posses good antenna characteristics in the designed frequency band. Both antennas are used in WLAN, and the simulated and measured results are in good agreement. The first antenna is a CPW feeding short slot antenna. A wider AR bandwidth can be obtained by controlling the transmission line and the position of the short. The impedance and AR bandwidths are 360MHz (15.1%) and 100MHz (4.1%), respectively. Then, a shorted-loop antenna with wider AR bandwidth is presented. By adding inside metal, frequency shift can be adjusted, and therefore the circular polarization operations are produced. Finally, a wide band circular polarization antenna is presented.
