Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士班 === 98 === In this research, we explore different clues that have some influence on Chinese people learning Japanese words. Because Japanese is composed of Chinese characters which are either phonological or semantic and kana which is phonologic, this experiment use eight different types of clues to explore their influences on Chinese people learning Japanese words. This study has 80 participants and uses the following eight types of clues: (1)pictures and kana, (2)Chinese characters and kana which are comprehensive and non-classified, (3)graphics and kana, (4)kana only, (5)voice, (6)Chinese characters and kana with similar sounds and meanings, (7)Chinese characters and kana with similar sounds but different meanings, and (8)Chinese characters and kana with different sounds and meanings. This research has got the following two conclusions. One is that Chinese characters help Chinese people learn Japanese words. The other is that the clue with two cues also help. Therefore, based on the result of this research, Chinese characters can play an important role for Chinese people in their learning Japanese; furthermore, two or more clues can efficiently help learners memorize and comprehend vocabulary.
