Our OEM quality has highly affirmed by international firms. However, with many OEM manufacturers but limited orders, manufacturers tend to offer specific investment to gain business opportunities. This study based on Taiwan listed OEM companies to analyze the motivation of specific investment via Spillover Impact and Imitation Behavior Impact theory. The thesis indicates contract, reputation spillover and outcome-based experience affect the Taiwan firms to make specific investment to their transaction partners. Moreover, with the analyze of the imitation behavior theory, when companies with characteristic plan for specific investment will reduce other companies to imitate similar investment. The OEM companies’ original owned experience will also limit the imitation behavior in result foundation.
