In Taiwan, Kinmen National Park is the first park that is established both to preserve the remnants of battles and cultural heritage and to protect the nature resources. Compared with other places in Taiwan, Kinmen, which had experienced many momentous battles, has the unique battlefield monuments, and it represents its importance of the strategic position. Even now, the cross-strait ties has been untied and the exchange on two sides is more often, for Kinmen, the historical significance of the opposition between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits still can not be erased. The two main explorations of the subject are inclusive of the Kinmen field culture and information graphics. This exposition of creation commits itself to making the war history and the local features of Kinmen into the design by way of searching and digesting the references, and presenting it in form of the development of information graphics. It comes as an expectation that the works of Kinmen field culture presented in form of information graphics could tell the story about each period in Kinmen fully in visual words. The essay named “The 60-year evolution of Kinmen.” Which divides the Kinmen sixty-year field culture into eight periods including 1.Civil war between Nationalist Government and the Communist Party, 2.the Defense equipment, 3.the System of combat village, 4.the Natural ecosystem, 5.the Curfew , 6.the Three direct links, 7.the military service, and 8.the Welfare.
