Taiwan's environmental movement over decades, as environmental educators, environmental deterioration should be awakening and response, how to take practical environmental action to inspire students of education, should be the most important thing. The Government's current environmental and administrative penalties for the Basic Law, and the Environmental Education Act, hope that the implementation of environmental education in early childhood education teachers will be in preschool education system and leads to early childhood learning, experience, care and advocacy practice.
In this study, 98 school year, Tainan 283 of all public and private kindergartens and nurseries and childcare teachers targeted research questionnaires were issued by 1100, 703 valid questionnaires were, through questionnaires, quantitative methods of research.
Study found that teachers with experience in environmental science to support environmental protection knowledge scores than those without experience in environmental protection is higher, while the nature of different schools to find differences in environmental knowledge of cultivation, the higher public school teachers in private school teachers; the design of environmental protection issues into the number of teachers teaching in 579, accounting for 82.36% of teachers all that has most of the early childhood education teachers have begun the implementation of environmental education.
From the correlation and multiple regression analysis found that teachers in the school category, the nature of school, teaching, environmental awareness and environmental protection issues are the question of cognitive norms, and teacher support were significantly related to environmental science, and the five factors have a positive environmental cultivation The impact of environmental issues which explain the variability of standard cognitive highest educated to enhance environmental protection are the most important.
