Description
Summary:碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計研究所 === 98 === Since computer graphics were applied to art, it has become more convenient on capturing and blending images comparing to the traditional processes, and the presentation techniques are then more diversified too. However, this has also being one of the most difficult constrains to overcome within the Chinese Traditional Ink category in years. And in view of this, the main research aim is to identify how to combine and integrate the traditional style of Chinese Traditional Ink with modern computer graphics, and to further derive newly developed techniques and more innovative visual presentations. Therefore, throughout the research process it would be necessary to study literature reviews and understand both Chinese Traditional Ink and computer graphic related subjects in order to master the unique characteristics of arts and creativity within them, and further discussions based on research philosophy and theoretical fundamentals should also be held. The final presentation of this project will include the true visual touches of ink paintings which could not be replaced by computer graphics with some lifelike scenes that traditional ink would never be able to demonstrate, and plus a piece of artwork which captures the irreplaceable characteristics of the two. In addition, using artistic conceptions presents the combination of computer graphics and ink and the ultimate atmosphere. For composition, we shall mainly use the traditional drawing skills developed by Chinese Traditional Ink to place the two elements with Regularity; as for virtual space presentation, the unique viewpoint of Chinese ink will be used to show the features and angles of the scene. Furthermore, to merge scene features with character of the artist to show not only the essences of the artwork, but also increases the values and levels which differentiate from other visual effects are often seen on the market.
