S/he has a profound influence on not only the continuity of the company itself but also the development of the social economics. How to develop an effective motivating system and its supporting measures for the CEO to develop his/her potential for making profits is a very important task for a company. The purpose of the present study was to analyze motivating systems for CEOs. The study started from the economic analysis of the motivating systems in the previous studies and then narrowed it down to the systems in the limited companies in Taiwan in order to understand the factors which influence the motivating systems. As regard to the models of motivating systems, in order to promote CEOs’ self-management, personal morality should be developed. In addition, the extrinsic motivating system can be built in terms of the goals. It is important to carefully choose the reinforcement and to provide substantial enterprise resources. Therefore, the CEOs can make the organization more competitive in international markets and follow the trend in leadership, policy and information to form a natural corporate culture. As a whole, after the financial tsunami in 2008, companies should have known the importance of a robust CEO motivating system. Besides giving considerable reward for firm performance, it is important to avoid that the CEOs make use of the motivating system to benefit themselves and treat the short-term benefits as the final achievement. As a result, it brings larger tsunamis. The researcher suggested that companies should put board-supervising system effect and strengthen the motivating system, especially in spiritual aspect, make appropriate legal regulation, perfect the accounting auditing system, strengthen the financial system and market supervising ability. The researcher believed that motivating is always effective. A little spiritual motivation will receive a big return. CEO motivating system is a system to make the CEOs to identify strongly and go into a benefit partnership with the company. Therefore, the CEOs can view company benefits as their own benefits and have a sense of self-achievement and respect. Subjectively, violated actions can be avoided and CEOs are more dedicated to company benefits and be loyal to the company. Also, the main purpose of the motivating system is to recruit or keep special talents, to elicit more working motivation and aggressive attitudes, and to boost managers’ efficiency and quality. In other words, the system raises the effectiveness of the human resources, reflect in the growth of the firm performance, and achieve a win-win situation.
