In this study, the temperature and fan frequency are modeled as membership functions and fuzzy control algorithm is applied to temperature control system with Matlab software. In addition, the hard wares combines an oven, heating lamps, blowers, inverter and PLC with fuzzy control theory to construct a complete temperature control system. Through the computer’s HMI and the temperature fuzzy control systems, the internal oven temperature is controlled at the target value. Since the temperature control includes the time-varying parameters, the traditional mathematical formula is not easy to provide an accurate solution. In this thesis, fuzzy variables, rules and inference method are proposed to describe the system and are expected to achieve better results. To compare the advantages and disadvantages between Mamdani’s and Sugeno’s fuzzy solution when they are applied to the system temperature control, the same membership functions but different defuzzification test are adopted. Finally, simulation analyses also show that Mamdani’s and Sugeno’s fuzzy solution are appropriate for application to fixed temperature and temperature change.
