Summary: | 碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 98 === This thesie presents the implementation of a prototype of a 150 Watt passive trigger type DC to AC inverter. This inverter is designed by using a new circuit topology which is designed by Wun-Chih Liu and is now patent pending in Taiwan and P. R. China. An inductor with large air gap is the key component for this circuit design. This inductor is used for energy storage purpose can only be driven directly by grid power. Thus if the grid power is disconnected from this inverter for any reason, then this inductor will be lack of driven power immediately. This will make this DC to AC inverter stop to work automatically. In this manner, the well-known “Islanding Effect” of DC to AC inverters will never happen for those inverters with this kind of circuit design. In this thesie, the design principle and the implementation details will be described. Besides, some measurement results also be shown and discussed.
