Summary:碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 98 === In Taiwan, the water environment, rivers are representative of ecological systems, although the characteristics of Taiwan's rivers flow for short and rapid,but it is rich and varied environment, and suitable for all kinds of aquatic,terrestrial creatures habitat and become a breeding area, so for the river environment investigation is an important research work. Dahukou River originates Da-Gan mountain in Kukeng county Hua Shan village, about 1,304 meters high, import to Huwei River in the vicinity of Dapi county Feng Gun village, and the river is winding pattern. The river upstream is mostly gravel geology, sharp slope and wide channel, the water level slightly high and suitable for fish habitat. The middle and downstream is clay texture, and the spatial use of the situation for agricultural use mostly, river flat, however the agriculture waste, domestic sewage and livestock waste into the river. The estuary area is mostly sand and clay geology, the agricultural irrigation ditches into the river, affected by the downstream irrigation sluice, the water level is higher. Dahukou river rich ecology, including fish, shrimp and crab, aquatic insects, snails benthic shellfish, plankton, epiphytic algae, birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, land insects, plants, etc., The ecological investigation in Dahukou river is helpful to understand the diversity of the region and its various species distribution, and it is very meaningful research for whole ecological environment and human life . This study will address the ecological environment field investigation in Dahukou River, the result data with environmental factors, will be compared and analyzed to provide a more completely river ecology analysis database in this areas.
