The main subject of study is company B, which is a Japanese company. It is hoped, through investigation and research listed below, to determine how the various dynamics of a company affect each other.
1. Combine the related theories of job characteristics and organizational commitments and confer the relationship between them.
2. Whether employee attributes of the Japanese enterprise affect job characteristics or not.
3. Whether employee attributes of the Japanese enterprise affect organizational commitments or not.
4. Whether job characteristics affect organizational commitments or not.
The participants of the study are employees of Japanese manufacturers. Data collection was made by distributing and returning questionnaires from the various departments. The period of research was from December 1st to December 30th, 2009. For the research, 247 questionnaires were distributed, and 223 responses were collected. 202 responses were valid and the valid response rate was 82%.
The analysis of study was made by using descriptive statistic analysis, one-way ANOVA analysis and Pearson analysis .The research results below are as follows:
1. Employee attributes of the Japanese enterprise partially affect job characteristics.
2. Employee attributes of the Japanese enterprise partially affect organizational commitments.
3. Job characteristics and organizational commitments have a positive relationship.
