Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 機械與精密工程研究所 === 98 === Nowadays, biking becomes the most popular recreational activity around the world; however, it might be limited for those who are elder, disabled and struggling for the hustle life to enjoy this sport. Luckily, thanks to the enhancement of high-technology, it broke through the traditional interface into a multi-cultural and multi-interactive one. Via the integration of various sensory signals capture and information engineering, the interactive interfaces had no longer been restricted to traditional interfaces, such as using mouse, keyboard etc…Therefore, more and more people can experience this exercise now. To reach better scenario effects for users in the navigation situation, this research adopted biking-interactive design to provide realistic simulation scenery effect. Besides, there are diversity scenic resources, available media and virtual reality(VR) in the Internet virtual world, so this research attempted to apply literature reviews to study interactive design elements related to users’ feelings as well as utilize Internet, VR and scenario simulative skills to create VR scenario navigation system combing with biking. This research describes a system that can assemble off-the-shelf bicycle into a developed platform so as to enable indoor biking into an interactive 3D scenery for the exploration of virtual world. The system provides a cyclist with virtual global scene of Google Earth and also of the landscape created by using a virtual reality software. The cyclist’s heart beat, calories consumed, and speed could also be displayed for reference. That is to say, the developed system is expected to be used for indoor cyclist to explore global virtual 3D scenery interactively in enjoying world wide famous landscape.
