With the Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine installed in our school as a sample and the 0018 standard turbine blade specified by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics as a template, according to the different specifications of the blade such as chord length, angle of attack, radians and the angle and other factors , 18 different types of the blade will be made with the ratio of 1 to 8, which are connected to a small DC brushless permanent magnet generator. The blade output powers under different conditions are tested. The Taguchi method is used to find a group of the most appropriate parameter for the blade.
