Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 98 === This thesis studies the structure and principle of Cascaded H-bridge Multilevel Inverter and Photovoltaic System. The MATLAB is used to build the model of power circuit of the Inverter for PV System. In addition, the harmonic characteristics of the multilevel inverter output voltage are studied when the power elements short-circuit. According to the analysis, a fault detection and diagnosis module is proposed for identify the faulty cell. Following the fault diagnosis and bypass the faulty cell, a fault tolerance strategy is used to maintain the inverter in continuous working. Simulation results show that, the proposed module for fault detection and diagnosis has correct effect for fault identification. Besides, the fault tolerance strategy allows the inverter for continuous providing balanced output voltage.
