Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 98 === This thesis studies the detailed modeling and simulation of multi-pulse VSI based Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC). The construction of multi-pulse inverter is investigated, and the output waveform characteristics and harmonic spectrum are analyzed. In addition, the PSCAD/EMTDC is used to build the detailed model of power circuit and controller of the three-level 24/48-pulse inverter based compensator, afterwards these compensators are connected with a 3-bus power system. As the result of simulation, these multi-pulse inverter based compensators could stabilize the system voltage and control the active and reactive power of transmission system.
