Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 98 === Satellite communication has many advantages over any other communication’s network whenever the information is targeted at a large population of receivers or when they are spread over large areas. This makes satellite communications to be especially suitable for the provision of multimedia applications in remote areas that would be very expensive to reach with terrestrial cables or even terrestrial radio links. In this thesis, the intelligent-based algorithm is employed to design a satellite receiving system for Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellites. Based the on embedded system using the user interface, global positioning system, compass and tuner (satellites signal strength) information. The azimuth angle and the elevation angle of the target are tracked efficiently by the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm and stepping-searching method. The system has the function of searching multi-satellite, and provides more multimedia programs of satellite TV.
