Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 化學工程與材料工程系 === 98 === Superparamagnetic nanoparticles with functional surface modification have been applied to bioseparation, magnetic resonance imaging, hyperthermia therapy and drug delivery. Several signaling biomolecues, e.g., steroids and cholesterol derivatives, are amphiphilic. It is thus desirable to prepare a magnetic nanoparticle capable of adsorbing amphiphilic compounds, which may be used in a variety of biomedical applications. Accordingly, the superparamagnetic magnetic silica nanoparticles modified with basic and hydrophobic functional groups were prepared in this work. The role of surface nature of the functional magnetic nanoparticles in adsorption of sodium fluorescein (an acidic amphiphilic dye) was examined.
