Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 98 === Semiconductors are the key components of electronic products. And, whether a nation is strong in terms of semiconductor industry can represent the ups and downs of that nation’s electronics industry. In other words, the stronger the semiconductor industry of a nation is, the more lilely that nation can stand invincible in the field of electronics industry. Therefore, the technology capabilities of semiconductor manufacturers play an important role in the sci-tech industry. On the other hand, with the rapid change of the semiconductor process with each passing day and industry-wide application, new products emerge very quick and process technologies are also enhanced continuously. Because of that, semiconductor manufacturers must often consider to update old equipments, or replace them completely when necessary and develop brand new equipments to meet market demands The good quality of semiconductor process capabilities are very vital to equipment stabilities. If so, new equipments can be smoothly launched onto target market. In this regard, project management has been gradually emphasized. Therefore, this study aims to use project management, firstly in accordance with project management’s framework, process, stages, and method to effectively control project in terms of key success factors such as each task’s schedule, needed resources and demanded quality. Secondly, we use semiconductor process capabilities index widely applied in semiconductor industry as the standard of evaluating equipment stabilities. Hence, in quality planning, by the way of process capabilities analysis, controlling the accuracy and precision of product quality characteristics can be used as the acceptance norm. Finally, through case study, process capabilities analysis and project management milestone control, the reference framework of project management for new equipment onto target market can be proposed. This study indicates that, the project management application, in addition to time and cost benefits, can significantly increase quality performance.
