Collaborative designs could be used to create new services that are unrestricted by time or geography. Results have been favorable, in terms of logistics, order confirmation, order tracking, and management of inventory. In consideration of the fact that traditional religious supplies are often uniquely customized, this study aimed to assist industrial service providers by minimizing the gaps in time and geography that separate consumers from those who design the items they purchase. We were able to achieve this by incorporating collaborative designs in electronic commerce (e-commerce) websites, which would allow for the simultaneous integration of information, creation of customer profiles, and on-going maintenance of websites and support structure. Such websites would form a diverse shopping environment providing immediate and comprehensive services. Results have indicated that collaboratively designed e-commerce websites enable instantaneous contact with customers for the exchange of information and confirmation of requests. This can alleviate costs, and increase both the efficiency of the service and customer’s satisfaction with it. Industries producing sacrificial firmaments could use the results of this study as a reference for the development of new services required to enhance their competitiveness and sustainability.
