Description
Summary:碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 98 === The vibration frequency and sensitivity of a single-walled carbon nanotube-based mass sensor are studied using ANSYS finite element software package. The content of the article includes: the armchair and zigzag nanostructures, and the fixed-fixed and fixed-free sensors. Results show that the vibration frequency becomes high when the attached mass of the carbon nanotube-based sensor is closed to the fixed end. The vibration frequency of the fixed-fixed sensor is higher than that of the fixed-free sensor when the same length and the same attached mass and location of the sensor are considered. The sensitivity of the sensor decreases with increasing attached mass. The sensitivity also decreases when the attached mass is closed the fixed end. In addition, the sensitivity of the fixed-fixed sensor is higher than that of the fixed-free sensor when the same attached mass and location of the sensor are taken into account.
