The polymer dispersed liquid crystal films possessed very large liquid crystal droplets showed different electrooptical characteristics with traditional polymer dispersed liquid crystal films which had smaller liquid crystal droplets. These electrooptical components included one-dimensional gratings, two-dimensional gratings and Fresnel zone plates. The intensities of zeroth-order diffracted pattern of one-dimensional gratings decreased with applied voltage increasing in high voltage regions were due to the influence of electrohydrodynamic effect. And the intensities of first-order diffracted pattern of one-dimensional gratings were dependent on the polarization of incident light which was the influence of the shape of the liquid crystal droplets. The changes of intensities of second-order diffracted pattern with the polarization of incident light were resulted from the boundary effect of the liquid crystal droplets and could be verified by the electrooptical characteristics of the two-dimensional gratings. The last electrooptical component we manufactured was Fresnel zone plates which had focused light effect but their efficiency were poor. 莫定山 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 119 zh-TW |
