Summary: | 碩士 === 開南大學 === 企業與創業管理學系 === 98 === The research has investigated the production control and purchasing function of SCM professionals through secondary data analysis, questionnaires and interviews. In order to study the complicated SCM job competency, business cooperation and information sharing, this study cooperates with professional and experienced person who works in SCM to find out the questionnaire formations and key elements.
The main purpose of this study is to provide a reference of the key successful factors on automotive industry SCM implementation. The conclusion of the research is based on the result of questionnaire consolidated from SCM professionals and interview with key management members within the case company, A company, which has already had a very successful SCM system implementation experience. This research included three car companies and five car-parts companies’ case study.
Concludes:
1. The most important competency of production control is logistics.
2. The most important competency of purchasing is customer relationship management and supplier selection.
3. Both of them possess business information exchanging competency in SCM and the key successful SCM element is quick feedback.
Form this study, the author hopes to set up a model of a reference guideline of SCM competency implementation, which may become a useful reference for the automotive industry.
