Many factors can affect the energy consumption of a sensor node. Because most of the sensor nodes depend on batteries to provide the energy, a low energy consumption system for wireless sensor network is important. Data communication is a critical part of the energy consumption of a WSN. The main issue of the thesis is discuss how to divide the network effective. Most of the current routing protocols of wireless sensor network is according to the locations of sensor nodes and uses there shortest distance to transmit data or uses Leach[3] protocol to route data. Leach selects some sensor nodes to become cluster heads which are used to collect data from other nodes. The objective of this thesis is to discuss how to design the topology of a wireless sensor network .We improve Track-Sector clustering which is used to select cluster head in every cluster .However they only divide the network into two tracks. In this paper, we try to find the best number of tracks and the best number of sectors to divide the topology of wireless sensor network. Chi-ChangChen 陳啟彰 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 51 zh-TW
