Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 98 === This paper introduces a new approach that combined of color interpolation and white balance for digital cameras. Nowadays, various interpolation algorithms have been proposed to reconstruct image. However, these methods are usually with drawbacks of blurred or false in colors, therefore a new method to effectively address these problems is necessary. Although the conventional edge-detection based interpolation algorithms achieve very good quality of reconstruct image, they usually have very high computational complexity. In this thesis, we proposed an effective 1-Dimensional edge-detection based algorithm for image interpolation, and we also developed a technique for color correction. The new algorithm can reduce the computational complexity, and achieve satisfactory results for both image and color quality.
