The most important and determinate reasons are the behaviors of sharing of injecting equipment , age ,genital condition , income and the condition of sexual partner , etc., which are very related to our daily life. Under observation, the seriousness of HIV is not that important, but when we discuss the results and the causes thoroughly, they represent a warning, which also is an important health index and the guide line of Prevention of National Health Unites . If it is not thought highly of, then the disease of immunedeficiency to pneumonia and the final results of death are high . Unnecessary examination and drugs are not only bad for the therapy of HIV, but a huge and insurmountable waste of medical resources. After looking through correlated documents, we found the correlated researches on predicting this kind of disease are rare. The purpose of this research is to use simple clinical basic datum to search for the key index of predicting HIV in injection drug users(IDUs) and set up a model of predicting HIV in IDUs in jail. This research take the IDUs in prison and the contrast group, HIV positive of IDUs in prison ,Kaohsiung as the sample. After the design of the research of proof document is done, measurement is carried out and datum are collected while the person are taking questionnaire . Total of 200 sets of observations fit into the conditions of this research. Numbers of having HIV of IDUs and not having HIV of IDUs are 100 for each. After processing and analyzing the datum by multivariate analysis, quantification theory type II, we get important discoveries by adding up the results as follows: 1. The behaviors of sharing of injecting equipment , age ,genital condition , income and the condition of sexual partner are five variables which are related to having HIV in IDUs or not. The order from the mostrelated to the lesser one is the behaviors of sharing of injecting equipment , age ,genital condition , the condition of sexual partner and the incomes. 2. The behaviors of sharing of injecting equipment , age ,genital condition , income and the condition of sexual partner are not highly related among each other. therefore, we can utilize these five variables to set up a mode of predicting HIV of IDUs . 3.Take these five variables to analyze by quantification theory type II method and analyze the scores of samples. We get 89.5% for the percentage of hits of distinction, which is very high. 4.Add the scores of the suitable category of the clinical data of the testees and the scores of the five variables. If the sum is positive, there is 89.5% of chance of having HIV in IDUs . However, if the sum is negative, there is 89.5% of chances of not having HIV in IDUs . We use this mode to predict HIV possibility in IDUs in prison. 5.The policy of harm reduction have got the remarkable effectiveness in the decreasing of HIV prevalence since from 2007 by changing the behavior intervention of using the sterile needle ,substitution treatment and using the condom in sexual course . The result of this research shows the predicting mode has a practical value in clinic and the harm reduction policy is the critical component of HIV prevention in IDUs.
