DPPH free radical scavenging ability, trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity and total phenolic contents of clove is the best in these essential oils. 10 mg/mL of clove essential oil was shown 94.08 % of DPPH free radical scavenging ability and its EC50 is 87 μg/mL. Additionally, the highest trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (78.89mmol of trolox/g) and total phenolic contents (4887 μg/g) was shown in clove essential oil. 87.32 % of eugenol in clove essential oil was analyzed by GC-MS. These results conclude that DPPH free radical scavenging ability and trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity of clove essential oil exhibit a positive correlation with the total phenolic contents. There was significantly of Metal chelating activity essential oil’s Department were Myrtaceae’s Blue gum eucalyptus and Zingiberaceae’s Cardamom.
