The sample is 418 employees of three tourist hotels in Taiwan. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1.The psychological contract of employees in tourist hotels is consist of transactional and relational dimensions. These two dimensions are correlated positively. The transactional dimension is consist of expectations on salary, promotion, and job security. The relational dimension is consist of expectations on career development, training and education. Overall, the employees’ expectations are high. 2.Under the transactional and relational dimensions, the psychological contract of employees in tourist hotels can be divided into three types or groups. These types are middle-low, middle-high, and high in both transactional and relational dimensions. The biggest group are those high in both dimensions and the smallest group are those middle-low in both dimensions. 3.The types of psychological contract of employees in tourist hotels are antecedents of transactional and relational violations and job attitudes. 4.Overall, the perceptions of psychological contract violations are midst for employees in tourist hotels. Employees do not perceive a low fulfillment of their expectation. 5.The perceptions of psychological contract violation are negatively contributed to job satisfaction and organizational commitment and positively contributed to turnover intention.
