Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 哲學系碩士班 === 98 === The present study aims at implementing Yang Ming’s philosophy of education which take character as the first priority in the elementary school, according to 3 aspects, teaching faith,teaching objects, and teaching content by exploring and analyzing Yang Ming’s articles “The principles of disciplining children ” and “The rules of teaching”. Firstly,the background of Yang Ming’s time and all his life were explored. Secondly, his ideology of philosophy was illustrated to deepen the comprehension of children’s character education.Thirdly, the two texts “The principles of disciplining children ” and “The rules of teaching” were analyzed and arranged to discover the ideology of children’s character education in them.In the mean time,in order to understand Yang Ming’s thought more,his letters and conversation were cited,and the ideology of education from China and other foreign countries were referred.Fourthly,by analyzing the present situation of the character education in elementary school, the difficulty of character education was thus discovered and reflected.Finally, by taking the idea, teaching children to become a saint, as the crucial faith, and considering the idea, understanding the rules of dealing with people, to be the chief target,the researcher of this thesis attempted to implement Yang Ming’s philosophy of education in present character education in elementary school to solve the problem of present character education , and elevated the effect of practicing character education.
