Summary: | 碩士 === 華梵大學 === 美術學系碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this paper mainly is to elaborate on paintings incorporating hidden images or meanings as the creation style. While painting style discussed here is based on the spirit and characteristics of Oriental brush and ink painting, the essence is manifested by both the western realistic and abstract approaches, in order to expound the Green ideology environmental issues.Contents of this dissertation is to elaborate on the humanity spirit and aesthetics concept inherent in Oriental brush and ink painting, as well as to probe into ecological and environment art in regard to the presentation forms and its essence. By employing Oriental brush strokes and ink nuance as the theoretical and creative experiment, and using the base tone which models ancient resemble paper, the ink image and green meaning in this work are hence presented. The principal part of this work is the characteristics of those objects stemming from green civilization; interaction of living creatures and human civilization objects are also incorporated.Brush and ink painting represents not only Oriental culture, furthermore, the technique advancement in this field could also be applied to contemporary pieces to create post modernism painting style. Complemented with visual contradiction and conflicts, the co-existence of oriental and western painting styles brings up a changeful and refreshing visual experience. Embodied in humor and metaphors, this piece of “simulated green” work articulately translates the pressing environmental issues, which, hopefully, could evoke people’s respect to the nature.
