We have modified and utilized two receivers in our front end, each cooperating with a tuner by using an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) structure to demodulate the receiving signal. Dual receivers compensate each other and improve the sensitivity of the DVB-T system. By using a Silicon tuner we reduce the size of the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and reduce the power consumption of the system because of the resulting improvement of the semiconductor process. Our design uses the NIM (Network Interface Module) to send video streams via the host connector to the main processor to carry out the signal processing.
