The core activity of education is teaching, and therefore the purpose of this research is to explore the impact of declining birthrate on the classroom teaching management strategies for elementary school teachers. Based upon documents, this research explored the existence of impact on the classroom teaching management strategies under the phenomenon of declining birthrate using eight schoolteacher’s personal background information and five pupil’s personality traits elements. The research samples was acquired with questionnaires from selected seventeen public elementary school in Banchiao, Taipei County using statistics method including arithmetic average, standard deviation, frequencies, independent-sample t-tests and one-way analysis of variance to analyze the needed data to achieve the objective of this research. The analysis demonstrated that age, year of work, academic history, grade of teaching separately has significant effect on the classroom teaching management strategies in teaching material selection (age), teaching method (age, year of work), course content (academic history), homework guidance (age, year of work) and evaluation of teaching result (age, year of work, academic history). In addition, the effect of administering classroom teaching management strategies on pupils with neuroticism characteristics is slightly worse than the effect on those without. According to the result of this research, junior teachers who just graduated and with less years of teaching experience are recommended to regularly consult senior teachers about their experiences on the classroom teaching management strategies, and to improve personal knowledge by engaging in further studies to fulfill the goal of acquiring necessary domain knowledge in their teaching fields. Also, when facing with pupils with neuroticism, schoolteachers are advised to keep patient and to pay attention to the overall impact of the administration of classroom teaching management strategies, and timely adjust relative teaching materials and auxiliary teaching aids to achieve the objective of effective learning under the premise of not affecting teaching purpose.
