The government offering internet services is also a trend of the world. Based on all our e-government plans, to actively promote the country as a whole e-government structure, and to all kinds of web services to be rendered, so the citizens do not have to go out, and also can enjoy the internet services provided by the government. These show that the website service plays a very important part in an e-government. The government website services have developed very well, however there is still a room for improvement. It must conform to the modern web2.0, cloud technology, and the other new technologies, continuously to provide the public with better network services and management model of inheritance to allow government agencies to quickly capture the advantages of operating results and to avoid making the same mistakes. This study aims to analyze the development of e-government, the type of its websites, and the management of its business models. In order to improve the overall quality of e-government website’s operation, the study will analyze the result further. The study reviewed related literature for providing theoretical foundation and used the case study method for further investigation. Six organizations, includes e-government agencies and their website outsourcers were interviewed, and the data of related websites were also collected and analyzed. After comprehensive analysis and comparison, the results show that (1) the website service is distinctively helpful and improves the level of public service; (2) the type of government portal website should provide sharing or integrated service; (3) to strengthen the functions of website service, it is necessary to build up the marketing activities; (4) when an e-government develops beyond information publishing and broadcasting, it should build website management platform for convenient IT maintenance; (5) government websites need set up maintenance and operation organizations to help its sustainability. The research results can provide e-governments as a reference for future website development and management.
