Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 宗教學系 === 98 === This dissertation is analyzing 《Liezi》’s life theory in terms of the apocalypse of life education. 《Liezi》’s theories were not well organized for decades in the Chinese history. Centuries ago, most historical researchers were focusing on determining the reality of 《Liezi》’s theories instead of expressing them to public. Yet, the later observers have confirmed 《Liezi》’s point of views in life and connected it with the life education to enrich people’s life expectancy especially when the spirit in life has become much faded nowadays. The research objective of this dissertation is to comprehend 《Liezi》’s life theories in terms of Cosmology, Fatalistic theory, and Life philosophy. Then combine them together with the Ultimate theory by 5 elements, including Haven, Land, Mankind, Divinity, and Phantom. All these theories can be expanded in the life education to discuss the apocalypse by three dimensions: Environment ethic education, Live & death education, and Moral education There are three research methods. First is the periodical illustration which is to understand and express 《Liezi》’s original meaning of life education. The beginning of universe, to the formation of a life, all comes from the word “Tao”. To comprehend the Cosmology, first we need to analyze the intent of “Tao” 《Liezi》’s Fatalistic theory explains that life is “Following the trend whatever happens”. Humans should do under the fate and can live with their desire and enrich their lives during stable period along with a believing destiny attitude. 《Liezi》’s Life philosophy is based on happiness of being humans, nihilism, and peaceful attitudes. From 《Liezi》’s Cosmology, comprehend the Tao, practice the Tao, and to obtain the Tao will experience the complete perspectives in life. The second method is analysis of documentation and generalization. We use them to discuss the current situations, problems, and intentions in the life education. Then provide the appropriate resolutions to organize the connections between them and study the value of apocalypse from 《Liezi》’s life education. 《Liezi》 has confirmed the relationships between mankind and nature by the environmental ethics, all things in the universe are together as a whole belief, obey the nature phenomenon, and the harmony by enriching spiritual lives. To understand the truth of Live and Death from the apocalypse of life education, to obtain the wisdom of overcoming Live or Death, to enrich the final concern before death, and to promote the environmental friendly bury concept. From apocalypse of the moral education, we can locate the methods to establish speechless education, cheerful attitude to deal with everything in life, and examples of noble men. 《Liezi》, in fact, has activated the life education and helped us realize the essence of life, and experienced the existence of life.
