The goal of this study was to explore self-acknowledgement promoted by learning Picture Book of Life-Education Online for Elementary School Students. The methodology used in this study is the action research. There were 29 elementary school students in the second- grade class which were observed. The researcher implemented the dimension of self-acknowledgement、the part of people and me in life-education、through teaching picture books and combining the discussion platform of Picture Book Club Online. The main purpose of this study was to help students to understand、accept、admire、and develop themselves from the life-education activities. The conclusion is as follows:
1. Learning life-education picture books can enhance self- acknowledgement for students.
(1) Picture books of life-education are the helper of students』 self- acknowledgement.
(2) Thinking is the operator of self-understanding、helping students to find their uniqueness.
(3) Structuring the confidence of self-admiration and self-acceptance in diverse ways.
(4) Owning courage make students persist to be themselves.
2. Picture Book Club Online enhances self- acknowledgement for students.
(1) Picture Book Club Online provides the learning and observation space for students.
(2) Multi-learning ways promote students』 interest and confidence in learning.
(3) Picture Book Club Online helps students to acquire the ability of independent thinking and self-perception.
(4) Picture Book Club Online establishes the atmosphere of being trusted and loved.
3. The reflection and growth of researcher
(1) Picture books created the win-win situation for both teacher and students.
(2) To view the energy of self-change.
(3) To strengthen the courage of facing the challenges in the future.
