The study used cluster sampling and investigated 709 fifth and sixth grade students from public elementary schools in New Taipei City in the Academic Year of 2010. The instruments used in the study were “ Perceived Parental Filial Expectations Scale”, “Filial Conduct Scale” and “Well-being Scale of Elementary School Students”. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistic, CFA, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and hierarchical multiple regression. After analyzing data, the findings were as follows: 1. Perceived parental filial expectations, filial conduct and well-being of senior elementary school students were above middle degree. 2. There was significant correlation among perceived parental filial expectations and filial conduct of senior elementary school students. 3. The aspects of “active communication” and “new knowledge to teach parents” in perceived parental filial expectations had a significant impact on the well-being of senior elementary school students. 4. The aspect of “active communication” in filial conduct had a significant impact on the well-being of senior elementary school students. 5. “Filial conduct” effect the well-being of senior elementary school students much than “perceived parental filial expectations”. Based on above findings, some suggestions were offered as references for the family education institutions, the schools and further study. Chen Fu-Mei 陳富美 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 136 zh-TW
