Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 歷史與文物管理所 === 98 === In this study, the Dun-he Palace in Tsaotun as the object of study to understand the evolution of the faith of Chao Kung Ming, as well as what and how the development of the belief of God of Wealth in Taiwan.
The results shows that: first, the folk spreading from Fujian to Taiwan is not a simple transplantation, but depends on the social needs, which led to the transform of faith of Chao Kung Ming, and the temple management use to meet the change, these two both bring out the change of Chao Kung Ming shaped from Fukatsu/the God of power patterns to the God of Wealth. Second, the understanding of the God of wealth is follow with different times and regions, for the understanding as well as the figure of the God of Wealth is not exactly the same. Third, Taiwan''s economic dependence on agriculture production in Qing Dynasty, harvest is the only subsistence, the Earth God is the God of the management of land, while the relationship between land and earn a living is most closely that people pray for Earth God can bring harvest, in which agriculture is equal to the concept of wealth, the earth god were regarded as a God of Wealth-in other words-the Taiwan''s first god of wealth. Fourth, the spring up of "da-cha-l", "lotto" indirectly led to the development of Taiwan''s faith of the God of Wealth: one, the new figure of the God of Wealth in Taiwan, the other, the representation of God of Wealth original in Chian. In short, the figure of God of Wealth was a shaping process, and is continually in progress.
