Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 經營管理碩士在職專班 === 98 === Unexpectedly, Cape No. 7, a movie based on local issues and community stories broken the highest film box office recorded of Taiwan at 2008. A nameless director without any social influence and went bankrupt during production. But expand his only 500 thousands (NTD) cash in hand extremely, not only to lead the cast who barely had any filming performance experience, but also generated this limited became a film which cost 50 million and 5 billion sales revenue miraculously. How he made it? This qualitative research based on the view of Social Capital theory and related Sociology thesis and the research of Quanxi (social network and relationship) of Chinese society from collected data/information and interview of the participants of the movie making to mapping the routes of the Social Capital within, to find out who were his angels? (The saying at Chinese society is a specific term called: Qeiren), who are them? How to switch on the power of Social Capital embedded on social network? Are there other kinds of truth type of “Quanxi” beyond current studies? Thus this paper would provide a local case study for further research at future.
