Through questionnaire survey using independent samples T tests and linear regression analysis. The results show that the dimension of personal factors, employees’ s education level, spouse’ s income, and work functions after the merger have a significant effect on organizational commitment. The age of B Life Insurance employees has a significant effect on organizational commitment. Compared with A Life Insurance employees, B life insurance employees have a positive relationship between education and organizational commitment. In the dimension of changing environment, work contents and functions, position, checking system, the benefits of retirement system, the importance of work, promotional opportunity, overtime pay, and work security have significant effects on organizational commitment for employees. Compared with A Life Insurance employees, B life insurance employees have a positive relationship between similar work contents and functions on organizational commitment while a negative relationship exists between checking system on organizational commitment. The employees with internal locus of control show greater organizational commitment.
