Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 化學工程學所 === 98 === UV-curable hyperbranched polymers were synthesized and used as oligomer in the red UV-curable ink-jet inks for the ink-jet printed LCD color filter applications. Ink compositions with the hyperbranched polymer exhibit good compatibility, rheological properties and dispersion stability. The jetting stability and jetting trajectory were monitored by the high-speed drop observation system. The printed dot-array test patterns were analyzed to evaluate the printing precision, dot-size uniformity, and color density. The printed and UV-cured dot patterns on glass substrates exhibits good chemical resistance. The printed micropatterns show high transparency, uniform thickness, and improved surface hardness. The UV-curable hyperbranched polymer can be used for the ink-jet printing of color filter. The carbon black was modified by surface-grafting reaction to improve its compatibility with ink compositions and dispersion stability in UV-curable monomer. UV-curable ink jet inks incorporating surface-modified carbon black exhibit good printing precision. The dispersion stability of modified carbon black and color density of printed patterns will be improved in our future work. Keyword: Hyperbranched polymer, ink-jet printing, color filter
