Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 工業工程與系統管理學研究所 === 98 === In the plastic optoelectronics industry that is booming at present, the use of transparent optical plastic material accounts for large proportion. It is applied extensively to, for example, projectors, digital cameras, and camera phones. The design of products and the function are increasingly strong and complicated, making the molding skills of optical lens more sophisticated. As a result, the material properties used are strictly required. For example, Polymethyl, Methacrylate, PMMA、Polycarbonate, PC、and Cyclic Olefin Copolymer used with optical plastic material produce optic components that are light, able to resist impact, low in cost, and suitable for massive production. Moreover, optic components are able to mold not only complicated shapes but also micro-features shapes, and various piece parts can be designed for monoque, thereby saving hugely on the cost of subsequent secondary processing.
This research, conducted with optical grade Zeon-Zeonex series material, along with model SJ-1423 die factory, makes use of Taguchi experimental design method. It aims at the setting of conditions for several key production parameters in terms of precision injection molding, such as mold temperature, injection speed, and packing pressure, trying to find out and verify key factors that influence the quality property of a product and to provide them for optical industry with reference in adjusting the process of setting parameters.
