碩士 === 大葉大學 === 教育專業發展研究所碩士在職專班 === 98 === This study investigated the influence of a particular instruction, creative drama, on learning Chinese Course for the sixth grade students. Seventy-three sixth grade students participated in the study. Variables of interest were students' social skill and self-esteem, students' reported use of creative drama for learning from 11 weeks creative drama activities. A randomized pre-test-post-test control group design was employed. The finding showed a statistically significant interaction of creative drama for social skill and self-esteem on learning Chinese Course. For all outcome variables, the creative drama group showed significantly greater gains from pre-test to post-test than the control group. The findings have implications for both practice and research.
