The first was to explore the current situation and differences of volleyball players from junior high school in perceived of coach leader-ship behavior, sport confidence, and team cohesion. The second objective was to find out the relations between performance and perceived coach leadership behavior, sport confidence, and team cohesion of junior high volleyball players. Included as study tools were that of demography, Scale of Perceived Coach Leadership Behavior, Sport Confidence Scale, and Team Cohesion Scale. Study subjects were junior high male and female volleyball players who participated in Yong Sin Volleyball Cup 2009, of which selected only semi-final teams and by convenience sampling choosing 4 teams that were eliminated. It was a total of 196 copies of survey were sent out, and the effective returning copies were that of 183, that made the returning rate counted as 93.4%. The process methods included descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation method, and multiple regression. The results are as follow: 1.,Junior high volleyball players scored the highest on coach dimension in Scale of Perceived Coach Leadership Behavior and Sport Confidence Scale; whereas in Team Cohesion Scale, the team objective. 2. The resulted differences for demographical variables are as the followings: male players higher than female players; group A teams higher than group B teams; starter players scored higher than substitutions; seniors higher than juniors, and semi-final teams are higher than that of eliminated teams except that “care behavior” of coach from eliminated teams scored higher than that of semi-final teams. 3. There is an intermediate positive relation between perceived coach leadership behavior,sport confidence, and team cohesion, and these scales show good predictive power; on the contrary, it shows low positive relation between the sport confidence and grade achievement, and the sport confidence scale exhibits poor predictive power as well.
