Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班 === 98 === The main purpose of this study was to explore the influences of elementary teachers’ working pressure, personality and coping strategy on mental health in Changhwa County. This study involved a survey, comprised of a questionnaire and the participants were selected from the elementary teachers who are working at elementary schools under 18 classes in Changhwa County. Data were collected by 231 valid questionnaires among a total of 260 distributions. Results of this study showed as follows:
1.There was significant difference on the resources of professional knowledge within different ages among elementary teachers.
2.There was significant difference on the resources of low birth rate within various ages, teaching experience, recent working years and positions among elementary teachers.
3.There was significant difference on coping strategies of working pressures within different genders among elementary teachers.
4.There was significant negative correlation between the working pressures and mental health of elementary teachers.
5.There was significant negative correlation between the integral working pressures and the coping strategies of logical analysis and problem-solving perspectives of elementary teachers.
6.There was significant positive correlation between the integral working pressures and the coping strategies of emotion-venting perspectives of elementary teachers.
7.The predictors of elementary teachers’ mental health were reforming adaptation and students’ behavior.
In conclusion, the major findings were discussed. Suggestions to the related departments and the further research were proposed.
