Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 休閒事業管理學系碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this research was to understand the relationship among the personality traits, social relationship, team identification, external environment and game participation on spectators in Chinese Professional Baseball League. Using judgmental and convenience sample to survey, 510 questionnaires were distributed, 472 were valid, and the rate of valid retrieval was 92.5%. The conclusions of this study are as follow: (1)There are significant differences on the personality traits, social relationship, team identification, external environment and participation. (2)Agreeableness negative correlated to the time of participation. (3)Agreeableness, conscientiousness, the stadium of set, and atmosphere positively correlated to the year of been spectator. (4)Extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness, social relationship, team identification and external environment positively correlated to enduring involvement. (5)The significant predictors of explain the time of participation were agreeableness, friend’s factor and neuroticism. (6)The significant predictors of the year of been spectator were conscientiousness. (7)The significant predictors of attraction were team identification, community sense, friend’s factor, the baseball stadium of set and the team of image and management. The significant predictors of self-expression were team identification, community sense, agreeableness and the baseball stadium of service. The significant predictors of centrality were team identification friend’s factor, families’ factor, community sense and openness. The discussion and suggestions based on the results were offered to related organizations and future research.
