(2)investigate the differences among teachers' professional development,teacher effi-cacy, and job satisfaction in elementary school with different gender, qualifications and seniority.(3)explore the relations among teachers' professional development,teacher ef-ficacy, and job satisfaction in elementary (4)examine whether teachers' professional development and teacher efficacy could be the predictors of job satisfaction . Five hundred and one teachers were selected from Taichung City, Taichung County, Changhua County and Nantou County elementary schools in Taiwan by proportional allocation sampling.The subjects were administered by Teacher's Professional Devel-opment Questionnaire, Teacher Efficacy Questionnaire and Job Satisfaction Question-naire. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and regres-sion were used for analyzing the collected data. The followings were our main findings of the study: (1)There were significant gender and qualifications differences in elementary school teachers' professional development, teacher efficacy and job Satisfac-tion.(2)There were significant seniority differences in elementary school teachers' pro-fessional development, but there were no significant seniority differences in elementary school teachers' teacher efficacy and job satisfaction.(3)Teachers' professional devel-opment, teacher efficacy and job Satisfaction were positively associated.(4)Teachers' professional development and teacher efficacy could be the predictors of job Satisfac-tion.
