Summary: | 博士 === 大葉大學 === 電機工程學系 === 98 === This study investigates the potential impact and influence from photovoltaic power (PV) system connected to the utility grid. Generally, the photovoltaic power system is mainly connected to distribution networks of comparatively lower voltage. Its extent of impact differs depending on the capacity and location of grid-connection. Particularly in Taiwan, the power design of distribution networks is unidirectional, so a joint of distributed generation can form a diversified power generation. Thus, power generation is no longer unidirectional and power grid analysis has become more complicated. Therefore, it increases of difficulty in protection and coordination. In addition, the power feeder directly connects to subscribers. The change in grid-connection to power voltage may have a direct impact on the power use quality of subscribers. Therefore, the problem of system impact is investigated in this dissertation. The focus of this study analyzes steady-state performances of large-scale and small-scale photovoltaic generation system connected to a utility grid. The impact analysis of the studied PV system on Taipower distribution system is also under investigation. The software PSS/E is employed to establish the model and calculate the power flow of the studied system. The simulated results can be employed to determine the impacts of the PV system to the connected distribution networks under various operating conditions.
