Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 資訊與通訊系碩士班 === 98 === Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of small battery powered devices with limited energy resources. The energy efficiency is a key design that needs to be enhanced in order to improve the life-time of the network. Since cluster-based WSNs facilitate to balance the energy consumption, among sensor nodes and enlarge the system life-time, providing an efficient cluster construction strategy for WSNs is vitally meaningful. However, the conventional cluster constructions are difficult to control the geographical area of a cluster. The methods usually generate long-distance intra-cluster routing and can not keep the energy efficiency. This study presents an efficient cluster construction strategy that can handle the geographical area of a cluster. Accordingly, the numbers of sensor nodes of clusters are balanced and long-distance intra-cluster data delivery can be avoided. Simulation results demonstrate our strategy are efficient.
