This system is composed as an ARM9 based embedded system and the Zigbee sensorial network. The endpoint device of Zigbee network can connect to the temperature sensor and moisture sensor. An MCS8051 based MCU is connected to a Zigbee IC module to handle the Zigbee IC and to control peripheral devices. The data can be gathered by the sensor node and it can be transmitted back to the embedded system over Zigbee network. The gathered data can be uploaded to the central FTP server. The system will send an email message to specific address if the monitoring temperature or humidity is out of the alarm levels. The users can manage this system on the web based management interface easily. For security concern, only the legal IP addresses can access this system.
