Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學研究所 === 98 === This thesis discusses the synthesis, crystal structures, and supramolecular interactions of metal complexes containing N,N'-bis(2-thiazolyl)formamidine (HL1) ligands. The reactions of KL1 (L1 = anion of N,N'-bis(2-thiazolyl)formamidine) with Cu(OAc)2 and CuCl2 afforded [Cu2(OAc)2(L1)2], 1 and [Cu2Cl2(L1)2], 2. The reaction of NaL1 with NiCl2‧6H2O afforded [Ni2(L1)4(H2O)]‧THF, 3. In addition, the reaction of 2-aminopyrazine (L2) with ZnCl2 afforded [ZnCl2(L2)2], 4, and the reaction of 2-aminopyrimidine (L3) with AgSbF6 afforded [Ag(L3)2](SbF6), 5. Complexes 1 – 3 are dinuclear while complexex 4 – 5 are mononuclear. The molecules of complex 1 are linked into a 2-D supramolecular structure through C-H---O hydrogen bonds and π---π stacking interactions, while those of 2 and 3 are linked into 3-D supramolecular structures through C-H---Cl, C-H---N hydrogen bonds, π---π stacking, Cl---S, and S---S interactions for 2 and C-H---N hydrogen bonds, π---π stacking, S---H, and S---S interactions for 3, respectively. In complexex 4 and 5, the molecules are also linked into 3-D supramolecular structures through N-H---N, C-H---Cl, and N-H---Cl hydrogen bonds for 4 and N-H---N, C-H---F, N-H---F hydrogen bonds and π---π stacking interactions for 5, respectively.
